Liz Larin Winner of 3 Detroit Music Awards 2007! May 1st, 2007Liz Larin picked up three prestigious awards this year in the Rock/Pop catagory at the 2007 Detroit Music Awards, bringing Larin's total number of awards to 22!

Upon receiving the first award, Liz Larin promptly thanked her booking agent and venue promotions manager, Grace Menna, for all her hard work and dedication. With the second award, Larin, thanked her business manager, Joe Longo, for his belief and support. When it was announced that Liz Larin had picked up the Outstanding Pop Artist/Group Award, she thanked her band mates Chuck Bartels (bass), Dave Taylor (drums), Rick Beamon (drums), Roscoe (guitar), Robert Tye (guitar), and James Simonson (bass).
The Motor City Music Foundation did a terrific job this year and the well organized flowed beautifully. The pre-awards were held at the beautiful Cliff Bells jazz club and the performances at the State Theater were varied and excellent.
It was a wonderful evening as many Detroit musicians mingled with other music enthusiast, celebrating another good year for the Detroit music scene.
