LIZ LARIN Wins First Round of Emergenza International Music Festival
January 12th, 2005

LIZ LARIN, along with Roscoe (guitar) James Simonson (bass) and Dave Taylor (drums) took the stage with complete authority at Alvin's placing them in the next round of the Emergenza Festival. The 25 minute set which included music from the new CD was a rockin example of things to come. Liz Larin, who continues to morph musically, entertained the audience of unlikely converts with her strong vision and 'take no prisoners' style.
The Emergenza International Music Festival is the largest and longest running of it's kind and is held all over the world. The best bands compete for a chance to go on to the next round until the world winners meet in Gothenburg, Germany.
Tickets for the next round, which will be held in Detroit at the Majestic Theater at the end of April 2005, can be reserved at lizlarin@yahoo.com. Ticket prices are $10 and $15 at the door.
