LIZ LARIN Teams with Musicians Julie Magsig and Mark Miller to Support ASPIRE - Supporting Creativity in Children
October 26th, 2004

(Lansing, MI) The ASPIRE organization strives to encourage children to follow their creative impulses by uniting them with professionals in their chosen field of interest. Children who have dreams of being a singer, musician, composer, songwriter, artist or dancer send in a snippet of their work to ASPIRE. Professionals in those fields are teamed up with a child and take the child’s work as inspiration, creating a well developed work around that idea. This demonstration serves to show children that an inspiration in the seed by which full blown creative works can stem from. The lively concert took place at the Wharton Center in Lansing on October 24, 2004 and was well attended by children and their families. Many professionals in creative fields donated their time and talent to make this a successful event.
