Liz Larin Sweeps The Detroit Music Awards for the Second Year In A Row!
April 26th, 2004

DETROIT - Liz Larin was the big winner again this year picking up 5 Detroit Music Awards for 2004:

Outstanding Pop Artist/Group,
Outstanding Rock/Pop Songwriter,
Outstanding Rock/Pop Vocalist,
Outstanding Acoustic Songwriter
Outstanding Acoustic Vocalist.

Liz graciously excepted the awards thanking everybody and saying she was happy to be celebrating with everyone,"...another year of doing what we love." She thanked her manager Caren Goldstone, her label, Bona Dea Music, Joe Longo, Grace Menna, Roscoe and her band, Robert Tye, John Dunn and Dave Taylor for :...making me sound good."
Roscoe, co-producer of Liz's latest, 'the story of o-miz,' picked up awards for Outstanding Producer and Outstanding Studio. Liz Larin and Roscoe have plans to unveil a couple of new music projects in the near future.
The hardest working rhythm section in the Detroit, including drummer David Taylor, were not able to join the festivities due to other gigs. Guitarist Robert Tye and bassist John Dunn were missed as they were making musical contributions elsewhere, backing up the national production of The Lion King.
Liz Larin's highly anticipated new CD is slated for September 21, 2004.
